Mark your calendars for a great family friendly event to raise money for Service Dogs of Virginia!
These hot or rainy summer days are a great time to work on projects for this special event.
Calling all crafty young people and musicians under 18 for the Mutts n Munchkins Crafty Kids Fundraiser, an event to support Service Dogs of Virginia. This fundraiser hopes to provide children with a chance to make a positive difference in the lives of these amazing dogs and the people they help.
Mutts n Munchkins is looking for individuals, or teams of young people, to create simple dog related products (art work, toys, or baked goods) or interactive activities (games or arts and crafts) to sell at the event to raise money for Service Dogs of Virginia. Of course, well-behaved, on-leash dogs, are also encouraged to attend.
The Crafty Kids Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2012, from 1-4pm at Cherry Hill Park. October seems far away, however interested kids should register soon to reserve their space. Working on this project is a great activity for those hot or rainy summer days.
There are many ways to help. We also need music bands to help create a wonderful outdoor atmosphere.
